The Africa Food Safety Summit is a regional series of high-level food safety, quality, compliance and food-systems conferences and exhibitions designed to bring together the people, organisations, technologies and institutions shaping the future of safe and sustainable food systems across Africa.

The Summit addresses food safety not as a standalone laboratory or regulatory issue, but as a farm-to-fork challengespanning agriculture, food processing, manufacturing, packaging, storage, logistics, retail, hospitality, laboratories, regulation and consumer health.

The events bring together government and regulatory agencies, food and beverage manufacturers, millers and feed processors, agricultural and agribusiness companies, retailers, laboratories, technology providers, researchers, development organisations and professional services from Africa and globally.

Running since 2021, beginning with a virtual edition followed by physical editions in Nairobi, Kenya, the series has subsequently been developed as a regional platform serving different African markets, including Eastern, Southern and Western Africa.
